ABOUT
Richmond Rotary is a group of local people who come together to make a positive difference in Richmond and the wider Hawkesbury community. Our members bring different backgrounds, experiences and skills, but share a commitment to service, friendship and strengthening our community. Through local projects, fundraising, volunteering and partnerships with other community organisations, we support people and causes that contribute to a stronger, more connected Hawkesbury.

As part of Rotary International, we are also connected to a worldwide network of people working to create lasting change in their communities and across the globe. Rotary brings people together to tackle challenges, develop friendships and turn ideas into action. At Richmond Rotary, we believe meaningful change begins with people who are willing to get involved. Fundraising
WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
Fundraising is an important part of what we do at Richmond Rotary, enabling us to support projects, organisations and people throughout the Hawkesbury community. Each year, our members raise significant funds through three major events: the Hawkesbury Show, the Sydney Swap Meet and Richmond Carols by Candlelight. These major events are supported by fundraising activities throughout the year, including weekly BBQs and Friday night raffles at Richmond Golf Club, as well as our involvement in community events such as the Sydney Antique Machinery Show.

The funds we raise are put back into the community and used to support Rotary projects and initiatives locally and beyond. Our activities are organised through dedicated committees and coordinators across Rotary's key areas of service, including Community, Youth, Vocational and International Service. This structure allows our members to identify community needs, develop projects and direct the money we raise towards initiatives that can make a practical difference. Through the generosity of the community, the support of our partners and the work of our volunteers, every fundraising activity helps Richmond Rotary continue its tradition of service.
