The three Rotary Clubs of the Hawkesbury — The Rotary Club of Kurrajong North Richmond, The Rotary Club of Richmond and The Rotary Club of Windsor — are working together to sponsor the formation of a Rotaract Club in the Hawkesbury district. Rotaract is a global Rotary movement bringing together young professionals, skilled tradespeople, students and community-minded people who want to create positive change through community service, leadership and friendship. The first Rotaract club was established in North Carolina, USA, in March 1968, and today Rotaract connects members and clubs around the world.

The Hawkesbury Rotaract Club will provide opportunities for members to build friendships, develop leadership skills, expand their professional and community networks, volunteer locally and make a measurable difference in the Hawkesbury. Activities may include community service projects, volunteering, supporting local not-for-profit organisations and partnering with the three Hawkesbury Rotary Clubs, while members will also have the opportunity to develop their own projects and priorities. Rotaract is secular, non-religious and humanitarian in focus, providing a welcoming environment where like-minded people can connect locally while becoming part of an international network of service and friendship.
