Panglao Island

Richmond Rotary has shared a special international partnership with the Rotary Club of Panglao Island in Bohol, Philippines, since 2011. Over the years, Richmond Rotary has provided practical and financial support to local projects, including the Little Angels Orphanage and a nutrition program supporting malnourished children in disadvantaged coastal communities.

In 2025, eight Richmond Rotary members and friends travelled to Panglao Island to reconnect with the community, visit the projects and participate in the children's feeding program. The visit culminated in a joint Rotary meeting where the two clubs renewed their sister-club agreement, continuing a friendship and commitment to service that has now lasted for more than a decade.
