Model United Nations Assembly
(MUNA)

Richmond Rotary proudly supports the Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA), a Rotary youth program that gives senior high school students in Years 10–12 the opportunity to experience the workings of the United Nations. Over a two-day event, students represent different countries and debate important global issues relating to peace, health, education, development and living standards.

MUNA gives young people the opportunity to develop their public speaking, debating, leadership and teamwork skills while gaining a greater understanding of international affairs and global cooperation. Through its support of MUNA, Richmond Rotary helps young people broaden their horizons, build confidence and become more engaged with the world around them
