The National Bodies

European Union Flag

The National Body will function as an independent yet interconnected structure within the broader lived experience movement, with its leadership feeding into the Global Lived Experience Agency. While it will operate autonomously, it will align with global objectives to ensure consistency, collaboration, and mutual growth.

National Bodies will be established to enhance and coordinate lived experience initiatives at the national level. These bodies will act as a vital link between local, state, and national organisations and the global platform, fostering collaboration, consistency, and mutual support. Each participating nation will have a dedicated National Body composed of a board of directors and an evolving membership of consumers and carers. These networks will be responsible for a range of initiatives aimed at strengthening and advancing the lived experience movement.

National networks will identify and document available services within their respective countries, including organisations, initiatives, and opportunities for consumer-driven mental health and well-being.
