About
Andrew Turtle is a systems-level thinker, author, and lived experience advocate focused on mapping human systems—from mental health to the broader evolution of humanity itself.
He is the author of four books: The Consumer Journey (2021), which maps the mental health system from a consumer perspective; A Turtle’s Journey (2024), a personal and reflective work; Lived Experience Power (2025), which maps the global lived experience movement; and The Dialectics of Mania (2026), exploring the deeper dynamics of altered states and human experience. Alongside these, he has published over 12 eBooks on Amazon, including The Creation Series, which explores humanity’s place within a larger cosmological and evolutionary framework.
Andrew holds a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Master’s in International Public Health, alongside TAFE Diplomas in Library Services and Community Care Services. His professional background spans the disability and mental health sectors, where he has worked as a Local Area Coordinator and peer worker, grounding his work in both lived and professional experience.
Beyond writing, Andrew has created a network of digital platforms designed to map and connect knowledge across systems. These include US ’N’ U Blog, The Global Now Project, The Wellness Revolution, the Connecting Co-Creators website, the TCM Hub, and the Lived Experience Hub. Together, these platforms form an interconnected ecosystem aimed at organising and advancing knowledge across health, society, and human development.
At the core of his work is a unifying vision: to map systems so they can be better understood, connected, and evolved. The Lived Experience Hub represents a key part of this—bringing the lived experience movement into a single, interactive space to support collaboration, visibility, and global growth.
More broadly, Andrew’s work explores humanity’s trajectory—placing current systems within a larger timeline of future development. He envisions a world where fragmented structures evolve into coherent, interconnected systems, with lived experience playing a central role in shaping more human-centred, responsive, and integrated societies.
